Here’s what I’m loving this week!
- This adorable woven lamp that I’ve been oohing and aahing over for a hot minute. I just couldn’t stop thinking about those scallops! I slightly panicked when it sold out online, but somehow (magically!) managed to snag a rare one still left in store on a recent trip to Texas. I will admit that it wasn’t the most fun fragile item to try and transport back through the airport via an already full/busting at the seams carry-on, BUT I can’t even begin to tell you how much joy has been sparked (no pun intended!) since I plugged it into a dark corner on our kitchen counter. The cozy vibes are immaculate!
- When it comes to Don West, forget calling me just a fan. . . because I am the whole dang air conditioner, honey! If you like funky, spunky, with a soulful sound, then please stop what you’re doing and go check out one of his recent videos. There is a cute (and very lucky!) dog included. His voice just melts you like butter, and I think everyone deserves a listen. Although, can someone please tell him that his newest released single titled “Julia” spells Jessica wrong! L O L
- My latest read comes highly rated and I tossed it around as a suggestion to my book club after it caught my eye at the library. I’m about halfway through the audio version of a very in-depth look at the Murdaugh family murders and scandals. I am looking forward to attending an author event with my book club soon for our August book pick!
- Just believe me when I tell you that this beautiful cake caused me stop my scroll on Instagram. It’s already got me wanting to invite some friends by for a “cake & cocktails” evening over some card games. Key lime pie cake and Moscow mules, anyone? (photo via Broma Bakery)
- Aren’t these fun hair clips just the cutest?! I have my eye on the cute crab to combat this summer humidity. Inspired by food and favorite things, I’ve found that these make for some unique gifts!
