This month’s beverage: A Baja Blastarita 🌧
Why we love it: Traditionally a Hurricane is made with rum, but we like to give it a twist with tequila for a more playful, unexpected take! Plus, we also just really like tequila LOL🍹
What you’ll need: A calm attitude to an ever-changing forecast 😅 because the leaves are falling, tequila is pouring, and the storms are swirling 🍂🫗🌪
PHIL’S RECIPE:
- 1½ oz. Tequila of choice
- ½ oz. Triple Sec
- ½ oz. Agave Syrup
- Juice of 2 Limes
- Top off with Mountain Dew Baja Blast
- Shake tequila, triple sec, agave syrup, and fresh lime juice with ice.
- Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.
- Top with a heavy splash of Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
- Garnish with a lime slice or a mermaid tail! (easy tutorial here 🧜🏼♀️)
Serves one.

p.s. and seriously, #BLESS Huricane Humberto for pulling Hurricane Imelda back out to sea resulting in the East Coast being spared from impact!! . . . but we also maybe like to think that our weekend sips had a hand in some extra luck on that final forcast 😉
