some snippets from the garden this week ππ©·π§‘
to be honest, I haven’t had time to prioritize the garden lately and the “summer uglies” are slowly taking hold π but yesterday morning was a good reminder to slow down π’ and admire that everything finds a way to take care of itself π±
-how lucky are we to still have so many pollinators π
-the zinnias that popped up all over the garden from last year’s blooms have been a colorful surprise π
-the anoles are our regulars π¦ we have spotted so many babies in the flower beds this summer and of course, there is always one that hangs around the grill and torments ollie through the screened window πΉ
-our “air-bee-n-bee” has been booked and busy π
-this pretty swallowtail kept fluttering around me as was hanging clothes out on the line to dry π¦
-what a joy to see for the first time today that our sunflower finally bloomed!!! π»
-the horn worms have arrived and appreciate my tomato plant donation π
-how sweet was this hummingbird that we spotted through our kitchen window when it found our blooming overgrown garden bed radishes π«
